More Upcoming Activities

Thursday, July 9th is our Mike and Key Club meeting night. 7 PM, first floor of the G-M Science Center (St. Norbert College), Room 1095.  You can park and enter on the South side of the science building (near the chapel)

There will be a foxhunt Sunday July 12th.  7pm, 147.555 MHz

The club picnic will be Saturday, August 22 at Willow Creek Park, 1800 Guns Street in Bellevue. Shelter, electricity, bathrooms and playground equipment will be available. Please bring a dish to pass.  More information on times and food will be available soon.

The picnic location has changed.  The village called and has a big sports event going on that they didn't know about.  They offered Josten South, off of Daly Dr.  The easiest way to get here is taking Landmark Blvd by Costco as Lime Kiln is closed near Monroe.  Then take Lime Kiln to Daly, take Daly all the way to the end and turn left.  Drive a block and you should see it.

There will be a HamCram and VE test session October 3rd.  It runs 9am-3pm and will be held in the Gehl-Mulva Science Center.

August 8th the club will be operating a special event lighthouse station from 9am-1pm.

Green Bay Mike & Key Club - 75 years old

For anyone who hasn't heard, the Mike & Key club celebrates 75 years this year.  Steve, KB9MWR is working on documenting the area ham radio history. You can view a draft here:
http://www.qsl.net/kb9mwr/files/ham/history/history.html

Your contributions are welcome and appreciated, as it is a collective effort to retrace the past.

Saturday March 14th will be the annual banquet.  Please get your nominations for ham of the year to John, W0LFE before that.  The banquet will be held at the Woods.  Since it's our 75th year, please help spread the word to some of the older members who might not be as active, as it would be nice to see them at the banquet.  The club (like last year) will pick up part of the cost for the meal for members.  So the cost will be $5.00 for members and $14.00 for non-members.  Please RSVP to Pat, WA9RFT.
