Greetings,

The Club Meeting is this Thursday, August 13th. Please be there by 6:30 because the Tech Talk time will be used for the Homebrew and the Kit Built presentations.  Members who bring in a homebrew or kit-built item will talk about their project and explain why it is special to them and why it should be interesting to everyone at the meeting.  I have heard there will be several “show and tell” demonstrations.  When we’ve seen everything, we’ll vote on the best of the homebrew and best of the kit-built projects and the two winners will receive nice certificates to hang in their Ham Shacks.

During the meeting you’ll get the final details on the August 15 club picnic and hear more about the Christmas Holiday party.  We’ll also talk about progress on the 147.360 repeater and hear information about the August 16 Fox Hunt.

Another interesting activity will be the selection of a new QSL Card for the club.  I’ll show all the entries on the big screen and then we will vote on the best one.  The winner will be credited on the printed cards and will also receive “2027 dues” as an award.

As always, I encourage you to come to the meeting and take part in club activities.  The meetings are a perfect time to learn a little more about our hobby and to get to know more of our great members.

 73,  Bill   (302) 537-4755
