DUES ARE DUE: Last notice… maybe..

RADIO.  I have been seeing a lot of activity this Winter in the effort of designing new antennas.. It almost looks as if the End Fed is starting to take the lead.. It is a great idea.. Hanging the coax from the middle of the dipole makes you try to set up a support there… or even the Off Center Fed gives a chance to shorten the coax length by getting the tie-in point closer to the radio. By having the end of the antenna almost anywhere to make the connection gives quite a option. And to slope it or even zig zag it to fit the area. Has anyone out there compared the difference from a straight wire to a zig zag using Wspr to graph it? Do you loose distance or do you gain area covered? Don’t know what Wspr is? a good analysis tool. Here is a link to see.. https://www.wsprnet.org/drupal/wsprnet/map You can use this freeware.. I use it to check my antenna on each band. Questions?
