Field Day 2004

Field Day is an annual event sponsored by the ARRL to demonstrate and exercise the emergency preparedness of ham radio operators. The objectives include using emergency power, and exchanging information with other stations throughout North America.

This year, the Green Bay Mike and Key Club will set up for Field Day at K9KL's. We will be running the call W9G in honor of the 150th birthday of Green Bay. We are planning to run 2 HF stations as well as a "Get on the Air" (GOTA) station, Satellite station and a VHF station.

Soda will be provided by the club and it will be a lot of fun. If you are interested in coming, please e-mail Brent Crier, N9BC.
